The Fates Align

The Fates Align is a senior thesis film by SVA animation graduate Brooke Burnett. It follows the story of a group of friends struggling with teamwork and communication while playing a Dungeons & Dragons style role-playing game. Through the game, they come to realize the strength and power of their friendship, and what it can endure.
The film, and thus the score, draw heavily from the fantasy genre. I assigned each character unique instrumentation that I think spoke to her personality. Much like the girls themselves, their themes and instruments are quite different from one another, but feel almost incomplete until they come together. I composed the score in Logic Pro X.
